Our guiding beacon is the 7th Amendment’s right to trial by jury. We believe that everyone deserves access to our civil courts and that those who cause needless harm should face accountability. In keeping with this vision, the TTLA PAC supports legislators and legislative candidates who support open courts and meaningful civil accountability.

The purpose of TTLA PAC is to influence the nomination and election of candidates to legislative office. Participation in TTLA PAC is open to any member of TTLA in good standing who voluntarily wishes to make a commitment to the TTLA PAC. There are no campaign finance limits in Texas so you may contribute any amount you would like to TTLA PAC.

Why Contribute?

TTLA membership dues cannot be used for political purposes; therefore, the TTLA PAC’s political efforts are funded separately. TTLA PAC is a multi-partisan organization and is not affiliated with any political party. We operate in accordance with the provisions of the Texas Election Code. PAC contribution dollars go directly to support pro-civil justice candidates and officeholders.

PAC Eagles

As an added benefit, any TTLA member who contributes at the level of $100/mo. or greater qualifies for TTLA PAC Eagle Status. This category of membership recognizes those whose contributions make the most impact on TTLA’s political efforts. TTLA PAC Eagles will receive special recognition at TTLA events and additional membership benefits.

The PAC is managed by a fifteen member Board of Trustees. The majority of the board is comprised of TTLA members in good standing from the various geographic regions of the State with a number of positions reserved for the current year’s TTLA President, First Vice President-President Elect, Vice-President for Political Affairs, and both the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Officer of Public Affairs. The goal of this board is to have 100% of TTLA members participating in the TTLA PAC.
