The Texas Trial Lawyers Association is a member organization comprised of plaintiff's attorneys who meet our membership criteria. We provide products, services, information and continuing education seminars for our members, as well as the most innovative, interactive network of trial lawyers in the state.
TTLA was founded in 1949 to protect the rights of Texas' families. Today, more than 60 years later, TTLA has never been more committed to this endeavor. Since its inception, TTLA has been a steadfast defender of the civil justice system in Texas, and through exceptional leadership and vision, TTLA has worked hard to ensure that ordinary citizens always have a voice in the legislative process.
We continually strive to give our members a competitive edge in today's ever-changing legal climate by providing a host of valuable services including:
Cutting Edge CLE presented by trial lawyers, for trial lawyers
Up-to-the-minute, practice-relevant information delivered direct to your desktop
Local and statewide networking opportunities
TTLA is the only organization standing up for the rights of plaintiffs and the trial lawyers who represent them. Standing watch over the constantly changing regulatory, legislative and political landscape, we employ the full power of our collective wisdom, experience, network and political expertise to protect the viability of the plaintiff's practice. Our membership is comprised of trial lawyers, from the solo practitioner to large, "big city" firms, who share our vision and who volunteer their time and resources to further our mission.
TTLA is proud to have a united membership of attorneys committed to maintaining a civil justice system that protects all Texans, and we'll continue to work hard to make Texas a safer and healthier place to live.
